學校概況
Latymer
Upper School 拉提默中學（拉提默學校）于1624年根據Edward
Latymer 的遺愿創辦，位于國王街及泰晤士河交界，在倫敦西的哈默史密斯。我校與小學部共用一個校區，沿著泰晤士河流域，可以一覽哈默史密斯河段的美景。操場范圍約1.5英里。我校設備完善，包括有300個座位的拉提莫藝術中心，音樂中心及藝術中心。學生來自倫敦不同的地區和社區。1996年，我校的A-Level階段開始招收女生。此后，我校逐漸轉為一所完全的合校，從2004年開始，我校也招收7年級階段的女生。我校更注重學生的學術成績。我校教學嚴謹，學生成績優異。音樂是我校傳統優勢學科之一，我校鼓勵學生參加音樂劇表演，多達300名學生學習樂器，175名學生參加管弦樂團，150名學生參加合唱團等。我校的體育運動出色（多名學生是郡代表及地區代表），我校更開設多項課外活動。戲劇也是我校傳統優勢學科之一，我校每年上演多部作品。此外，我校更組織探險之旅，體育之旅，野外課程等，包括到巴黎，柏林，馬德里，斯德哥爾摩的實習。我校學生每年參加Duke
of Edinburgh’s
Award。我校也注重培養學生參與不同活動及個人價值觀的培養。
學生與入學
學生:
年齡：11-18歲；970名學生，830名男生，140名女生（女生數量每年都在遞增，我校暫時只招收7年級和A-Level階段的女生）。
入學:
主要入學年齡：11，13和16歲。需要通過我校的筆試（本校試卷）和面試；A-Level階段：面試和錄取通知書（A-Level所選學科需要達到A）。我校歡迎學術成績優秀學生報讀，我校對學生的宗教信仰沒有任何要求。來自公立學校的學生，在11歲階段，占60%，13歲及A-Level階段比例更少。40%的學生來自本校的小學部。
獎學金
獎學金價值學費的50%；大部分是學術類獎學金，也有少量音樂類，藝術類，戲劇類及體育類獎學金。不要求家長購買書本。
家長
20%以上的家長是醫生和律師，
20%以上的家長從事戲劇，媒體，音樂等行業。

考試成績
GCSE:
129名11年級學生參加GCSE統考，99%獲得8門以上的C。平均分是66分。
A-levels:
164名13年級學生參加A-Level統考，26名學生通過4門學科，137名通過3門學科，平均分是374分。
學生升學
幾乎所有學生升讀大學（25%的學生在一年后繼續升讀大學），14%的學生升讀牛劍。10%的學生學習醫學，牙醫，獸醫，15%的學生學習科學和工程學，5%的學生學習法律，60%的學生學習人文學科和社會科學，10%的學生學習藝術與設計。
課程
我校開設GCSE和A-level, 21門GCSE學科, 35門
A-level學科。
A-Level:
大部分學生在第一年學習4門學科，第二年學習3門學科，48%的學生學科科學，52%的學生學習人文學科，學生還可以選修計算機。
職業:
學生可在英國及歐洲參加實習。
外語:
GCSE和A-level均開設法語，德語，西班牙語和意大利語。A-Level學生更可選修俄語，GCSE必修法語或德語或西班牙語。我校定期組織學生到法國，德國，意大利和西班牙進行交換生學習。
計算機:
作為獨立學科和跨學科教學（7-9年級，每周一次課），獨立學科：我校內刊設計等。我校開放150臺計算機供學生使用（每天9小時），所有計算機聯網，均可收發郵件。
藝術
音樂:
超過40%的學生學習一門樂器；學生可參加樂器等級考試。超過20個音樂社團，包括管弦樂，樂隊和合唱團等供學生選擇。
戲劇: 我校每年上演5部戲劇。通常有45A-Level名學生選修戲劇。
藝術與設計:
平均45名GCSE學生,
50名A-level學生選修。我校開設設計，陶瓷，雕刻，攝影和美術史。每年有學生考上倫敦的藝術院校。
體育及活動
體育:
選修：橄欖球，板球，劃船，田徑，足球，網球，越野運動，擊劍，空手道，潛水，乒乓球，壁球，羽毛球，游泳等。我校有15–20名學生是橄欖球及其他體育運動的郡代表。
活動:
學生每年獲得Duke of
Edinburgh’s
Award金銀銅獎。我校開設年度活動周（700名學生參加38個不同的旅程或課程）。我校更開設慈善活動，與本地小學，公立學校的周六學校。超過40個社團供學生選擇：棋藝，辯論，戲劇，文學，哲學，攝影等。
校園生活
校服: 除A-Level學生外，其他學生在校期間需要穿校服。
宿舍:
我校沒有宿舍，由高年級學生選擇學生代表，A-Level學生有自己的委員會。
宗教: 不要求學生參加禮拜。
社交:
與附近的學校開展管弦樂及其他交流活動。組織國外旅游：滑雪之旅，語言交換生，新西蘭，南非等國的體育之旅，秘魯，尼泊爾的探險之旅。允許學生騎車到學校，我校提供自助餐飲。我校有商店及小賣部。禁止學生抽煙喝酒。
校規
學生沒有完成一次作業，需要課后留下完成再離校。我校對學生實施合適的獎懲制度，不允許校園欺凌行為。
